"Practical methods to move others by how we present our position" | Google Forms Google Sites Design tips Helpful Tips from Google Site permissions Adding templates to the gallery Page level permissions Creating pages Different page types Page hierarchy Inserting media and other gadgets Adding Images Embedding calendars Adding comments and attachments ACTIVITY ONE: Pair up with some members from your group and start a discussion about things you'd like to see on a website? Submit these things on this Google Form so we all can take a look! Proof of Concept! ACTIVITY TWO :
Start your own site for use in your role as an educator. You can
either start from scratch or use one of the School & Education
Templates (I recommend from scratch). Make sure you know your audience
(students, parents, or colleagues). Include links and leverage the
other Google apps by embedding those features into your site. ACTIVITY THREE :
Be sure to explore the different layout types for pages as well as
integrating the other Google apps (Docs, Spreadsheets, Presentations,
etc). Please include at least one of each into your site! ACTIVITY FOUR :
Explore the possibilities of making sites public and private in the
school setting. This will require you to either use either
two browsers or pair up with another person to explore these settings. |
